Every ceremony I do is a special one, but this one was extra special. Being able to make it official for Sophie and Mat - my partner’s twin sister, was truly an honour. What an amazing day filled with fun, laughter, love, and wonderful memories with family and friends.
Sophie and Mat made it official in December 2023 at the stunning Milton St Substation in Christchurch.
Sophie is my partner’s twin sister, so this one was super special, and it was such an honour marrying her and Mat. We’ve got some amazing memories with Sophie and Mat - including being on holiday in Raro when Mat popped the question to Sophie, so adding this one to the memories was truly special.
On the day, the stunning Milton St Substation was looking at stunning as it always does as Sophie made her way up the aisle. I am sure you will agree with me that she looked absolutely stunning in her dress, crafted by her talented cousin Tina Hutchison Thomas. To be honest, I thought Mat was going to choke up even more than he did, but he managed to hold it together and we got through the ceremony.
I must admit, it was also a bonus getting to stay on to party for this one too! Surrounded by family and friends, we sure did celebrate the love between these two!
