Planning and Writing the Ceremony
We start by using a quick questionnaire to figure out how you would like to structure your ceremony and what elements you would like to include. We then use a quick and fun questionnaire to help me get to know you both and catch up on your love story to date. I will then put together a first draft of your ceremony and get some feedback on it from you both - we keep fine tuning it until you are absolutely 100% happy with it. The ceremony can be as long, or as short, as you would like it - but in general it is around 20 - 30 minutes long.
I will also give you both guidance on how to write your personalised vows, including resources on how to get started and I am more than happy to proof-read them for you. I also include printed vow cards for you both to read on the day and keep for the memories.
I’ll also help you apply for the Marriage License and ensure all legal requirements are ticked off.
The Big Day!
In the lead up to the big day I will facilitate a rehearsal - that will ensure everyone knows exactly what they need to do on the actual day. I will arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony starting to set myself up and help anyone who needs a little guidance. After the ceremony I will file the paperwork making you officially married!
Planning and Writing the Ceremony
This is a short and sweet scripted ceremony that usually lasts around 15 - 20 minutes.
You start by choosing the base of your ceremony from two pre-written ceremony scripts I provide you. Once the base is selected, I will ask you both to complete a quick and fun questionnaire so I can get you know you both and catch up on your love story to date. I will then send you ceremony script - you can make some minor adjustments, but we just keep the general flow of the ceremony.

Planning and Writing the Reception
This is a full wedding reception MC package that can be added on to either a Personalised ceremony package or a Short + Sweet ceremony package. We start by talking through a rough plan of your reception and how you would like it to flow. I then take a look at the quick and fun questionnaire that you filled out as part of planning your ceremony and write a draft reception plan and outline for you to consider - we then tweak it until you are 100% happy with it.
The Big Day!
In the lead up to the big day I touch base with all your other vendors - venue staff, caterers, DJ etc. and introduce myself as your MC and make sure they know the flow of the reception. After we’ve finished your ceremony I will stay on and help you with your group photos (easily can become the most painful part of the day) and mix and mingle with your guests when you’ve snuck away for some photos of just the two of you. I will then get everyone seated for the reception and start MC’ing your entire reception - introducing the wedding party, introducing all the speeches, dinner service, first dance any messages you need to give your guests all while ensuring your reception is fun and organised.
